Thursday 21st April 2022 GillenMarkets has launched a unique online investment training course designed to teach people the principles of sound saving and investing.

The course runs over 9 modules and costs €169. Participants can follow the modules in their own time on any connected device (phone, table, laptop, or PC).

The course is led by Rory Gillen, founder and CEO of GillenMarkets. Rory has over 30 years’ experience in investing in stock markets. He has been providing investment training courses for retail investors since 2005. GillenMarkets manages over €400 million in assets on behalf of private investors and the company publishes a weekly newsletter which goes out to over 850 subscribers and investment clients. A free monthly investment blog goes to over 9,000 people.

Launching the programme today, Rory Gillen said; “this programme will help demystify savings and investments and the stock markets so that people can take more control of their financial and pension planning. That’s more important than ever as we move into the new pensions era (where employees will automatically be enrolled in pension schemes by their employers).”

The various modules of the course will cover areas like financial planning, why the stock markets produce better returns than other forms of investment, how to understand and manage risk, how to deal with volatility and the attractions of regular investing compared to lump sum investing.

Gillen hopes that participants in the programme will take the first steps to building their own portfolios; “My hope is that participants on this programme go on to practice what they learn. There is no reason why someone who is able to put aside €200 - €300 a month can’t begin to build a fund that over time can help change their lives and even achieve financial freedom.”

The course runs over 9 modules and costs €169. Participants can follow the modules in their own time on any connected device (phone, table, laptop, or PC). Further information on www.gillenmarkets.com
