i'm looking for one of those roll up canopys that you see outside pubs, i want to attach it to the end of our house to come out over the decking, stick some infa red heaters on the wall and we have a year round place outside to escape and bbq when we feel like it.

am in similar situation right now, want to provide roof over decking to enjoy summers(fresh air) even when its raining. Well do let me know if u have any ideas. I think u are talking about awnings, if I am not wrong. Check out this site http://www.awnings.ie/.

don't really want a roof as that stops sun, when its is sunny. i think the canopy is the perfect solution, if worst comes to worst i'll get in touch with a few mates in the bar trade and see have they any contacts.
 
no, heaters facing down and well away from canopy, a lot of pubs have them. heat is focused.
 
Why are they such awful colours, like pin-stripes white and blue, you would think you were at blackpool or briton in the 40s

welling living in laois a lot of people would love blue and white pin stripes

Sorry i only saw this thread now - I saw that Woddies had a 2.5 x 3.5 meter awning in a recent cateloge for just under €150 - sounds like what you are looking for.
