Am from near there originally, and would agree it's a nice spot (although biased!) However I wouldn't consider it a fantastic area for investment more for a holiday home. Rural renewal was great for the area and housing market, but I'm pretty sure it's finished. Planning can be very tricky for an outsider (or even for a prodigal son returning-thinking of a cousin of mine from area who has been refused on numerous occasions!)
