You've picked me up wrong.

I am simply saying that you should not factor in the chance of receiving MIS when buying a house. If you are even contemplating this then don't buy. It is there for those who find themselves in a situation beyond their control.
 
AIB will be merged with another bank or banks in the very near future. The IMF will decide very soon. Don't go near them now, wait until announcement is made. Can't say more.
