Ring beam and hollow blocks.

Hi.

I will be shuttering a ring beam on my dormer inthe next few weeks.
Everywhere there is a wallplate I have to put in a 215 x 215 ringbeam with 4 x T12 rebars and links.
It will be very slow work if I have to shutter all then steel then pour then pour.
I was looking at option 2, that is a U block 215wide 215 high and 440 long (same as 4"), lay them like normal blocks. Put the steel inside and pour in the concrete. Then put wallplate on this.

My problem is.
I made about 30 phonecalls today to try and source U blocks, however, some never heard off them and others did not have.

Anyone know where these can be got anywhere in Ireland. (is there another name on them, or am I using the incorrect name???)

Any help would be appreciated.
