Rights to use pictures of Dublin landmarks

I want to handmake some greeting cards of Christchurch, molly malone and other dublin landmarks. Do I need to get the rights to do this?

As far as I am aware of you take the photo or draw the picture, you own the copyright. If you are going to use someone elses pictures then you need to get their permission but you dont need permission to use the "landmark" as far as I am aware but of course open to correction.
