Revolut helpline / customer service? Alternatives to Revolut?

I am slightly flummoxed. I haven't used Revolut in ages and can't get back into my account as I need to update tax details apparently. I just get stuck with a message, at that point when I log in, and can get no further.

I tried the chat option but wasn't any wiser at the end of that. I tried emailing previously but didn't get a response. I can only see a number for a helpline in relation to blocking cards.

Is there any way to speak to someone on a helpline? Or should I just give up and try one of the alternatives Wise/ N26 etc? Thanks.
 
Close account and open a new one?

Or perhaps uninstall & reinstall the app?

I haven't tried this btw; wonder if it might get you out of the spot.
 
I tried the uninstall and reinstall this morning, out of frustration. But that didn't get me any further. I'll close the account, and try anew. Thanks.
 
Is there any money in the account?
Was app.origionally set up on an older phone?
If you can't setup app with same phone no and email, you will lose the money.
Could you buy a coffee with card or Google pay, and see if you get a deduction or an approval in app
 
I actually managed to get sorted. I have tried several times over the past two or three months, not just this morning - in case anyone thinks I'm awfully impatient . Anyway having tried yet again with chat I managed to get the issue escalated and sorted. It was very frustrating, trying to get to that point.

I have N26 and wanted to change email address recently, to say it was challenging is an understatement! I couldn't even begin to explain how many attempts or how long it took, dreadful customer service or lack of, I know it's online and low cost etc etc but it's impossible to get in contact!
