My mother filled in her Singe Direct Debit Authority for her LPT
But she sold her house in May and the buyer needed evidence that it was paid, but of course, it wasn't paid as such.
So I paid it by Debit Card over the phone and they told me that my mother's Authority would be cancelled. I wasn't confident in this.
And I was right not to be confident. It was also debited from my mother's account although it had been paid.
I hadn't got around to following up on this, when I got an email from them today telling me that they would be refunding it.
