Revenue actively seeking overseas tax dodgers

OK, as per a previous post, this isn't exactly news, it is merely chronicling articles which deal with the subject as it seems to be a very popular one in the media recently. The Revenue seems to be co-operating with the writing of these pieces quite a bit so there is obviously a big move on to clamp down on overseas investments.

These are the most recent ones from the [broken link removed] (and others [broken link removed] and [broken link removed] on making a Qualifying Disclosure) and Irish Independent today.

I would think it is probably the other way round, ie the papers are printing, practically verbatim, Revenue press releases as "news". The SBP has been flogging this story in various guises for several years now, normally on every bank holiday weekend. Fear sells papers I suppose.
