restrict access to IE Explorer

Is changing the name of the EXE an option? Currently it is iexplore.exe. You could change the name to _iexplore.exe and it might prevent the uninitiated from using it. You just then go to Start/Run... and type _iexplore to run IE.
 
Because IE is so tightly integrated into the Windows Operating System, thanks to M$, finding a simple password-protection program to stop users running IE is very difficult.

Better to use some of the firewall-type programs, which deny access to the Port 80, which is used for HTTP (any browser access).
