Restaurant set up costs

Hi

I am looking to set up a small/medium restaurant outside of Dublin about 50-60seater and was wondering if any of you have an idea of costs, I know my equipment costs but need advice about the general asthetics/interior design and if you know of any decent companies to source items from. I know this is a how long is a piece of string question but any advice is welcomed. Is it worth hiring a designer I saw one quote for about 50-75k sterling from one designer...

A friend of mine is in the process of opening a restaurant (his fifth), and I will ask him which way is the best to go. Designer costs have dropped in the downturn in Construction activity so bear this in mind. Otherwise let me know.
