restaurant like rolys - but not rolys?

Anyone know of a restaurant like rolys - but not rolys.
When I say like rolys i mean menu-wise.

Basically - not asian or italian food or anything like that.

My mother is in dublin for the weekend and she wouldn't eat anything like that.

Rolys woudl be more traditional i guess.

Not sure if i'm explaining my point well here.
 
If she'd be into a steak you could try FXBs - the one on Pembrooke St does a lovely steak dinner, nice athmosphere etc... If she's not into steak it might not be a good plan though.

What about Shanahans on the Green?
 
She wouldn't be a huge steak person either.

Just had a look at peploes menu online just there though and i reckon it fits teh bill.
