Restaurant en route from Cork 2 Dublin

Driving from Cork to Dublin on Sunday around late afternoon and was wondering if anyone knows a reasonable place to stop for food on the way, closer to the Dublin side, ie when most of the journey is complete.

At the M7/M8 intersection there is the new Midway hotel which has a variety of eateries. Further up the road you could always call in to the Kildare Outlet place where there is a Dunne & Creszenci and a Starbucks. Further on from that is Newbridge or Naas which both have plenty of restaurants.

Couple of places in Cashel - the barfood in the Cashel palace hotel is OK and the Kilcoran lodge is alright too. Cashel is roughly half-way usually. Abbeyleix has a nice place too a Cafe on the left-hand side coming from Cork the name of which escapes me.
