Resigning; entitled to benefits?

My girlfriend wants to resign her job as she really is not suited to it at all. She does want to find another job but that might take a while... She has been working full time for about 3 years paying full contributions. Would she be entitled to any SW if she resigned, or what period would she need to wait in order to receive benefit ?

She can claim for Jobseeker's Benefit (provided that she is available for and genuinely seeking other work) but be aware that she may be disqualifed from receipt of payment for up to nine weeks if she leaves her job without good cause.
