requirments for opening new bank account

hi guys,

I'm opening a bank account with Ulster bank. I applied online and got a pack today with the required docs i need to open. I have everything they need, except payslips. I started a new job at the end of june and while I have been paid by cheque every week or fortnight I haven't actually received any payslips. can i work around this or will i have to get payslips for the last 3 months?

Unless you are seeking credit there should be no need for payslips.

Go to Halifax if they won't back down. They do not require payslips.
 

All employers are required under law to give payslips to their employees.
