Requesting a Rent Review (ad hoc)

A lot of people have mentioned it but what are peoples opinion on seeking a rent review midterm. I have 2.5 years left on my lease and I'm the only tenant left in the building. 2.5 years since my last hard fought review, but obviously lots has changed.
 
It really depends if you are seeking a reduction in rent. Is it a retail or office business you are running. If you are trying to get a rent reduction. be prepared to have your books scrutinised, evidence that your turnover has been reduced etc. Otherwise I do not see landlords going for a general rent review mid way the term of a lease
