Repossession

Will a repossession (11 years ago) affect a mortgage application.

No credit difficulties since. All loans paid on time.

What search will identify such a repossession.

Should you inform Bank of this situation.

The Irish Credit bureau will only have any defaults regarding the last five years so I dont think you have anything to worry about.

Thank you for that. I know about the 5 year listing with Irish Credit Bureau, but wondered if there was a search for judgements (such as a Repossession Order).

Am not sure if there is a search for judgements, but there is a question on all mortgage forms that asks if you ahve ever had a judgement registered against you.
