Replacing gutter - fascia and soffit?

Hi all,
We got a quote for 300eur to replace leaking metal gutter with PVU one at back of house. As I am completely new to the subject I have been reading other posts about gutters on this and other sites to learn more about the process - they include lots of talk about fascia and soffit....our gutters look like they are attached directly to concrete as do all the other houses in the terrace. Do all houses need PVC fascia board/ soffit with PVC guttering? and so should we be getting anything else replace aswell as the gutter?

Why don't you post the job on that way you'll get a few tradesmen replying to the job you'll get an idea of what exactly needs to be done and you can shop around for prices.
