Replacing External Doors

We need to replace both front & back external doors and frames to an old house, Cork City centre area. Have contacted at least 5 Joinery companies, so far only one has come to measure & quote. Does anyone have a Company they could recommend. Both doors are quite large & we would like to keep the existing style wooden type.

I think that it's possible that they are just too busy to come and quote on site. They probably used to people coming to them with their dimensions. I'd suggest you measure the opening widh and height and take it to them for a quote with your design and choice of wood etc. If you decide to go with them they probably wouod be more amenable to coming on site to do exact dimensions - remember that the frame may be slightly wider and higher than the ope as it exists once the render had been removed.
