Replacement remote control- Chorus Digital

Changed over to Chorus Digital 3 weeks ago and the remote control for it stopped working after 2 weeks. We discovered the genius that installed the system had put two different brand batteries in together and one of them had leaked. Chorus are now trying to charge us for a replacement remote control even though it was their staff that put the batteries in!

How do we get this sorted out? Have we any rights?

We also had problems with our remote control. We just dropped into the Chorus facility in Limerick (in Roxboro) & they gave us another one free of charge.

I also got on to Chorus for a replacement. Was told I'd have to pay for it. Called again later that day and said I wanted to finish with Chorus and was going to SKY. Was then told I would get it refunded when I sent back old one. Two days later 2 new controls arrived in the post with a letter stating that they were complimentry.
