Replacement feather sofa cushions

Morning all.
I bought a sofa from Habitat some time back. The cushion part of the sofa is filled with feathers.
Unfortunately, despite plumping up the cushion frequently, it squishes down to very flat, and is now uncomfortable to sit on, and looks a bit odd.

Does anyone know of a feather replacement company, where I could buy replacement feathers, or a specialised company that replace the feather cushion inside, in Ireland?

I have found a company online http://www.thefeathercompany.com/page/sofa-cushions/ that I have emailed to see if they would ship here, which I think they will, but it's expensive enough, and they need the cushion cover for 2 weeks (which would make my small apartment a bit uncomfortable, as I'd have no sofa to sit on during that time!)

Any thoughts appreciated

Nicola

If the feathers have worn down over a few years, would you consider replacing the seats with foam cushions? Maybe try somewhere like , that manufactures in Ireland. I'd be curious what you find, as some of my cushions look a little tired as well.

You have to look for a company that can actually make proper cushions as you describe. They are called Foam Core Wraps, foam in centre with feather surrounding. Not cheap as you have to weigh up the cost of your sofa and (quality) against an investment in comfort. But it feels great.
