Replacement Car Keys

Hi all

Does any body know the process in getting a spare key for a nissan primera 00 . Is the main dealer the only option

I bought a second hand opel a few years back and only got one key with it. Last year I went into the closest Opel dealer and asked about getting a second key, pretty straightforward, although pricey enough. Without remote locking it was €80, with it was €120. And I had to pay an extra €20 'lookup' fee because I didn't have the codes for the key and they had to get them from head office.

a lot of locksmiths can do modern chipped keys. nissans are fairly common so it might be worth your while to ring around
