Replace shower with bath

Hi,
I am in the process of buying a house that has no bath, it was replaced with a nice big shower. But I have 2 kids who love baths (and hate showers) so I feel bad not having a bath.
Is there any cheap temporary way of having a bath sitting on the shower tray and connected to plumbing for a few yrs and then getting rid of it and having just the shower???

Or if not how much would it cost to replace the shower with a bath? Bathroom is all tiled with v nice tiles so I hate the thought of ripping them all out...
Thanks!

There is a kind of sit-in bath that might serve your purpose as it's not as long as an ordinary bath. I didn't notice if it was free-standing which I think you might need. While I see your point about all the lovely tiles a lot of people I know have reverted back to having a bath either because they were advised to for resale purposes or they just missed it.
