Hi guys,
I had a hard disk partition failure recently and managed to recover my photos with some recovery software. I have since copied the files to a working hard drive. My problem is I still cannot view some of the photos(jpg's). If I open a folder containing some of the photos in a thumbnail view I can see some photos but not others. If I click on one of the files that does not appear in thumbnail view and try to open it I get a message saying "file is corrupt" or "preview not available" etc.
The file sizes are correct. So for example I might have picture called canoeing.jpg which is 2mb but I cannot open it.
I have tried the photos on XP and Vista machines with the same problem.
Can anyone recommend software to repair corrupt jpg's? I've tried PIXRECOVERY and Easy Photo Recovery but still no joy
Any help is appreciated!
Hope I've made myself clear
