Last November a housepainter painted our new deck rail, apparently using a 50% mix of Owatrol and white undercoat. Sounds strange but it seemed to work well. Now the handrail needs touching up and I wondered whether to use the same. Husband thinks we should use normal white eggshell, but I thought that might be inclined to flake off. Any thoughts from the experts please?
