We have a house which is probably 100k in negative equity. Before we resign ourselves to remaining in this house for the foreseeable future, we want to explore every option which might show any possibility of allowing us to move house.
I have heard some people talk about renting their homes back to the corpo (house is a 2 bed ex-council house in D12). Has anyone any experience of this? What are the negatives, positives or otherwise? Also would the bank look more favourably on granting a second mortgage if there was a guaranteed rent on first residence?
