Hi All, Apologies in advance if this is posted in the wrong forum.
My partner and I have moved out of our principle private residence in Feb due to me getting made redundant and him getting a new job in different county... We are now living seperately.
The property is now going to be rented from June 1st.
In am in recepit of social welfare-jobseekers benefit and I have been approved for BTEA from Sept as i was given statutory redundancy last year.
So story on rent is mortgage is €875. Interest portion is €475. Rent will be €750. I think you can only claim 75% of this interest.
Will my jobseekers benefit be cut off or worse still will my BTEA be cancelled??
Would it be ok for him to take over the entire mortgage and tax responsibilities on the property? (they will still be paid that way)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
