Renter, is this worth trying?

Hi all,

I`ve been renting for the last 6 or 7 years - currently in an appartment with partner on a one year lease - 800 euro per month. This is up in march.

I`m thinking about placing an add in the local paper stating that i`m looking to rent a nice property and have max 600 a month to spend.

??

Anything is worth a shot .... just as long as it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg to do it!

If you're happy in the place you are in at the moment, it may also be worth trying to re-negotiate your current rent. If you have proved yourself to be a good tenant your current landlord may be encouraged to reduce the rent in order to hold on to you and your partner - in today's uncertain climate anything is worth a try!!
