rent to buy

Hi,

Does anyone have experiance of this?

Anyone aware of rent or buy offers in or around cork?

Do you think a vendor would consider this option if house had been on sale for a while and how would you approach it?

I had thought of this a couple of years back & was advised that the banks wouldn't recognize the rent as part of the deposit. I could be wrong & things could've changed but better off doing it the right way, instead of getting stung.
