Rent Tax Credit query

Hi guys, received my statement back today saying I'll get €505 back for my rent tax credits for last year, I thought the payment had gone up to €1000? I pay €9,600 a year in rent, have rented same place for 4 years.

Any help understanding it a bit would be appreciated, I've queried it with revenue also but no reply yet

Initially it was reported they'd go up to €750 a year, but in budget 2024 I'm pretty sure it was revised and €1000 was stated, but I'm confused as to how to claim it all back or how much rent I'd need to be paying maybe to actually claim that much!

When you read your statement of liability that would have received when you filed your tax return for 2024 can you see the rent tax credit on page 2 of the form. What amount can you see?
