Rent Tax Credit Query

Morning all. I am claiming the rent tax credit for 2024 and getting it in my weekly pay. I believed it was €750 for 2024. I have now gotten an amended tax credit certificate showing it increased to €900 and my pay was about €132 higher this week.
Was there any changes in this credit that I was unaware of?

Yes it's a maximum of €750 for a single person in 2024 and 2025.

It's not really possible to comment on your figures without more details about your income, tax credits, before and after this change etc.
 
Hi all. I know its due to go up in January to €1,000, but i thought it was €750 all the way to the end of this year. My rent is €6,000 per year. Just got the new certificate showing it as €900 now and tax back in my pay slip.

For the year so far income is €49716.02. My tax credits were 6214.6 up until new certificate was received yesterday, which showed them as 6414.6

(The 2024 limits were €750 and €1,500, but these were increased for the year retrospectively in Budget 2025.)
