Rent Suppliment and Jobseeker benefit.

I applied for Jobseeker since the first week of July and Rent Suppliment at the same time,but up till now have not heard from them. Do any one know how long it takes to process the rent supplement? as my landlord was asking if i have heard from from them just because of his rent.

There can be a delay in processing Rent Supplement claims due to the volume of applications. The exact delay will depend on where you're living and where you applied.

I waited 7/8 weeks on mortgage interest supplement

I will just have to tell the landlord the be patient.I hope i hear from them next month,but my fear is after waiting and if they don't approve me for Rent supplement will my landlord kick me out of the house if i can't pay the rent
