rent a room scheme and unemployment benefits

I am currently renting out a room (rent € 4k per year) on a house that I am paying the mortgage on my own. My job is very unstable at the moment and was wondering if I was made redundant would the rent I receive affect my unemployment claim.

Jobseeker's Benefit is based on PRSI contributions and won't be affected by the rental income.
