Hi, I own an old 1950's semi in a midland town and I'm thinking of doing a big renovation job on it. I bought the house at a very good price a few years ago and I have it rented since. I was thinking for spending 60 to 90K on a good quality refurbishment. The main areas I have in mind are new windows, dry line the interior and reskim, knock a wall between the kitchen & dining room, possibly build a conservatory and cobblelock the driveway.
Can anyone recommend a good website or book for this type of work. I'm particularly looking for ideas to improve the house. I would really like to read a book or website where a similar project was tackled.
