Hi I understand that the valuer has to visit your house again prior to final payment. Does anyone know what finish is required for this?
Is it just builders finish in that all construction work complete or do you need to have kitchen, bathrooms, stoves and flooring all installed for this valuation before you get final payment?
Also if anyone has any advice re a renovation mortgage or how it worked for them?
Greatly appreciate any advice

Not sure what the rules are these days and it may vary from bank to bank but the guideline used to be that the house was liveable in, now you wouldn't need much in the line of finish but would need to have water/power and bathrooms working would be handy!
