Their combined earnings are below 46,800 euros but they now have more assets and savings. How does the increase in assets and monies effect the renewal of the medical card? Does revenue incorporate assets and monies into 'earnings'? Thanks.

Info here http://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/health/entitlement_to_health_services/medical_card.html regarding the means test depending on their ages. If they call into their local Citizens Info office they will do their best to work it out for them, the business may complicate it though.
