hi,
im just looking for advice on how to render an outside wall, its my garage/shed wall and it appears to be letting damp through as it would,so i want to render the ouside to seal the blocks.im looking for exact method, types of material as alot of sites have info but its related to inside plastering or its just general info not very specific..any info or links appreciated.thanks

If it is a block wall, scud with 3:1 sharp sand:cement, then put on a scratch coat before floating it. Leave a couple of days between the scud and scratch. And a week between the scratch and float.
If it is smooth concrete, dust/wash down the wall, paint a coat of Ronofix and while still tacky give it a tight coat of rendering. Do not try to level off, but scratch it after five or six hours. Then as above.
