Removing silicon sealant from tiles

Just had some renovation work done on an apartment and the plumber was messy to say the least.

He used an excessive amount of silicon sealer around the base of the toilet bowl which is now starting to catch the grime and look unslightly.

I've tried scrapping it off but the textured surface of the tiles don't make that easy.

What can I use to remove it?

You can get a Silicone Sealant Remover from hardware stores. I got a tube in Woodies called 'Dow Corning Silicone Remover'. Just trim back as much as possible, squeeze some paste onto the remaining silicone, and leave for two hours. Then wipe off. (reapply as necessary)

Hope this works for you
