Ok, appreciate its not the most pressing issue on peoples mind, but I have a blind in my kitchen (I didnt put it up) that is stuck, doesnt roll up fully.
Googled and solution seemed to be to take it down and adjust the tension.
Thats the tricky bit, cant get the blind down!!
It has a spring pull in the middle, not a side chain type. Brackets are metal and seem to have plastic fittings, one side of it looks like a pull, but doesnt seem to do anything.
If it's similar to mine, then the "holder" is spring loaded on one side (similar to a toilet roll holder), where it is supported in the metal bracket. Grab hold, push to left (or right - depending on what side you are at) & there should be some give in it to allow it to slip out of the metal support bracket.
Wear gloves as the slightest sweat/grime etc will leave a mark. I know I cant remove any of ours but my husband has one removed in a second.
Did you just unroll and re roll the blind, keeping it taut, I think this might be a better idea as Id imagine it would be near impossible to roll the blind up when taken off the wall.
