Removing glue from glass

any tips?

need to remove it from newly fitted glass in windows and also from internal door with glass panels.

window guy mentioned petrol!?!

Yep petrol should do it (small bit on a cloth), or white spirits, or a window scraper or blade.

aimee if that doesnt work try paint remover.it worked wonders for me getting glue off wooden floors.
 
And, as I was unsqueaking squeaking doors this evening, I noted that WD40 Claims to clean off adhesives too !!
 
Acetone is normally a good solvent for glue. Less smelly than petrol.
Any Nail polish remover is simply acetone with a touch of dye in it, so I would try this before using petrol or white spirits
