Remove make-up stain from wedding dress?

Hi All,

I'm looking for suggestions on removing a makeup stain from a satin wedding dress. It is a small stain at the back of the dress. Any hints very much appreciated. I'm getting married on Friday!

Hope this site helps you. I personally would not use any chemicals on satin. Maybe phone a specialist dry cleaners in your area and ask for their advise. Where are you located. Don't worry too much nobody will be looking at the back of your dress....they will all be too busy looking at the beautiful bride.

What about a tiny dab of make up remover/ cleanser?

Could you do it from the inside with a propriety stain remover. You would be less likely to have a water mark
Carbon tethrochloride might do the trick, Soak a piece of cotton wool (make up pad) in the carbon t... and dab from the inside with clean pad outside. Do a trial on a spare piece of fabric
