Remortgaging AH, need solicitor (D7)

Hi I'm hoping to remortgage my AH and need a solicitor, can anyone recommend one? I'm in D7 (north west inner city area preferred). Hopefully someone experienced in this area and won't overcharge me!

Also has anyone done this recently and what kind of fees should I expect?

Is remortgaging allowed on an AH mortgage ? EBS have told me no top ups allowed ...

I have a 50-50 mortgage with the council and I'm going to 100%, that is allowed. I don't know the banks' rules sorry!
