I worked for an irish company for 8 years and in August 2010 i relocated to the UK branch of the company fully ( ie paid in the UK with a UK contract) . There have been reduncies here in the UK but the company is only paying the Uk statutory whereas the irish operation are paying a lot more. I have heard i may be entitled to the Irish redundancy option but i can not find proff of this, can anyone advise.
If you are now employed in UK, your redundancy will be based on UK law.
However, when you transferred over to the UK, the precise terms of your transfer, including how this will affect redundancy and pension should have been negotiated. Check your transfer documents and with your Union if you have one.
