Registering As A Sole Trader while being in a partnership

Hello All

I have a quick question. I am in parntership with another guy and the business is going well. However i have some other business opportunites that intrest me and I need to look after this under a different business. Can I register another Business Name, Register for VAT etc aswell as been in this partnership?

Yes. They are unrelated. You will be filing income under 2 separate self-employments in your tax returns.
