I was looking for some advice in relation to setting up a charity for our sports club. Does anyone know how this would work and tax relief etc.
We run some sports training courses for kids a couple of times a week and we have some 3rd level students as coaches and i am employed elsewhere but enjoy running the club and also coach.
It is not for financial gain but we need to pay the emplyoees which train the children correctly . we would also like to avail of any grants that are available to help with equipment and costs of running the club.
I am not an accountant or would like to be but i need some guidance on how to set this up properly.
