Hi
I am currently working but my husband has just come off jobseekers benefit and was told to apply for jobseekers allowance. We provided all info and proof that despite my wage we are coming in at approximately -100 a month (this doesn't take into account food/day to day living expenses) I totalled all bills/monthly outgoings and cut down as much as possible but we are still in minus figures and the only reason we have survived thus far is because of Jobseekers benefit each week. now that he doesn't qualify for this, is there anything we can do?. He was just told today that there is nothing he can do about it, that my wages excludes him from all payments...... is this correct?. He has never claimed anything in his life before the JSB and has over 20 years of work behind him - I have never claimed anything either, surely we cannot just be cut off like that? Any advice would be welcomed.
