I think I know the answer to this....
I had booked two tickets for a Broadway show for my mam's birthday and retirement 8 Feb - of course it was 8 Feb when all flights were cancelled. I've detailed earlier how travel agent refunded flights and hotel (the one time I've actually used a travel agent turns out to have been a good idea!)
Anyway the tickets were close on 200 euro, but as we couldn't get there - couldn't use them...
- Theatre says we can use within 28 days at discretion of manager- which has now passed, plus I'd have to physically appear with the tickets and since I don't have them, that would be impossible (they were for pickup)
- Credit card company (BOI) won't do chargeback, as tickets are non-refundable
- Travel insurance doesn't cover tickets.
I'm assuming I just chalk it up to experience?!
