Refund of PRSI

Would anybody know if a self employed person is entitled to a refund of PRSI contributions to PRSAS or RAC pension plans. If so when do I need to reply.

I would assume so but I am not 100% sure. For what it's worth this thread deals with PAYE employee claims of PRSI/health levy deductions on PRSA/RAC contributions made on a standalone (off payroll) basis.

Call the PRSI section in the Dept Social & Family affairs, they should be able to give you a definitive answer.
