redundant - SW help with mortgage?

Hi

Just got told could be made reduntant, have a mortgage and need to know if there is any help available for meeting the repayments-
I need to know if there are any additional dole payments - like rent subsidies but for mortgages i guess
I am hoping to get a new job but there aren't many out there also won't find out till the week before Christmas if I have lost my job.

Any advice would be appreciated.
