Redundant aerials

I have an aerial on my roof which I haven't used since I got Sky. Now with the switch to digital there must be 1000s like me. It's not doing any harm, as I'm sure it's well secured, but with the increase in scrap metal value, I'm surprised a business hasn't emerged to remove and recycle these from so many houses. Or are they totally worthless?

Individually, probably yes; en masse, probably not.

Some of these aerials maybe uhf aerials and ideal for receiving saorview.

They're worth something as scrap, but not much, and certainly not enough to pay someone to go around removing them. Too time consuming.
